A Step-by-Step Walkthrough

This guide will walk you through the process of creating and publishing your very own AI Companion on the Creator platform. Let's get started!

Visit the Creator platform at https://www.creatorsagi.com/.
Click the "Get Started" button.
Click the "Are you a Creator?" button in the top right corner.
Create your account by providing your email address and password.
Optionally, you can sign in with Google for faster account creation.
Fill out your profile information, including your profile picture, display name, description, and choose a unique name.
Your unique name is not publicly visible, but it's used to uniquely reference your profile within the platform.

Once your profile is set up, it's time to link your Stripe account for payment purposes.
Click on "Setup and link your Stripe account."
Follow the on-screen instructions to link your account.

On your Creator Dashboard, navigate to the left navigation pane and click on "AI Companion projects."
Click on "New AI Companion project."
Give your AI Companion a descriptive name.
You can have multiple AI Companions for different purposes. For example, authors with multiple books might create a companion for each book.

Decide if you want to start with a black project template (completely blank) or use an existing template and adapt it to your needs.
Existing templates offer pre-defined instructions and configurations, saving you time and effort.

Instructions are the foundation of your AI Companion's personality and behavior.
Provide detailed instructions to guide your AI's responses and ensure they align with your desired persona and content.
Example Instructions (Leadership Coach "Alex Carter"):
- Role Definition: Inspired by Leadership Coach Alex Carter, embody his philosophy and teachings.
- Content Source: Rely on Alex Carter's works for guidance, stories, and methodologies.
- Response Guidelines:
  - Use first-person narration.
  - Provide user-specific advice drawing from Coach Carter's philosophy.
  - Maintain fidelity to Carter's content.
- Operational Procedure:
  - Introduce your role and inquire about the user's background for personalized advice.
  - Combine insights from Coach Carter with user input.
  - Reference Coach Carter's works for relevant content.
  - Encourage interaction with follow-up questions or suggestions.
- Conclusion and Engagement: Summarize key advice, ending with a question to continue the conversation.
- Language and Confidentiality: Adapt to the user's language preference and maintain confidentiality.
Save multiple versions of your instructions as you work to easily roll back or compare different iterations.
When satisfied with your instructions, click "Save."

Adjust the Temperature parameter to control the creative freedom and novelty in the generated text.
Adjust the Top P parameter to control the variety of words in the generated text.
Experiment with different values to find the optimal settings for your AI Companion.

Navigate to the "Posts" tab.
Click "Categorize" and select a relevant category for your AI Companion. This allows users to filter and search for companions based on their interests.
Create a welcome post that introduces your AI Companion and engages the user.
This post will appear in the chat window when the user starts a new conversation.

Access the "Start Questions" tab.
Provide at least four starter questions to help users get started and explore the capabilities of your AI Companion.
These questions can be changed as needed.

Preview your AI Companion before publishing to ensure it performs as intended.
Once you are satisfied, click the "Publish" button.
Congratulations! You have now published your AI Companion and made it available to users.

Categories and Tags: Select a category and add relevant tags to make your AI Companion easily discoverable by users.
Add to Knowledge: Upload PDF or text files to provide your AI Companion with additional knowledge and context.
Conversation Configuration: Add a hint for users in the chat input field to guide their interaction with the AI Companion.
External Links: Add links to your social media profiles or website to enhance user engagement.

Monitor your AI Companion's performance and adjust your instructions or settings as needed to improve its responses.
Stay engaged with your audience and address any feedback or suggestions.
